Ding Ding! A brand-new product has just landed in the Alza Italia landscape: the wonderful Alza Spirit, our new 125cc electric scooter! ⚡️
But what license do you need to ride it? And how does it differ from the Alza Romance?
The Romance is an electric scooter equivalent to a classic 50cc scooter, with a top speed of 45 km/h. Given its power and speed, it only requires an AM license, making it perfect for:
- 14-year-olds and up looking for their first ride.
- B or B1 license holders seeking an agile way to navigate city traffic!
What about the Spirit? Well, our newcomer is a bit more demanding! 🚀
The Spirit requires at least an A1 category license. As a 125cc equivalent that reaches 80 km/h, it offers a more “substantial” riding experience. It is accessible to:
- A1 License holders (from age 16).
- Full Car License (B) holders – Please note: This is valid in Italy only! In the rest of Europe, a specific A1 motorcycle license is usually required.
Thanks to its power, the Spirit is also legal for use on ring roads and main highways, making it the ultimate commuter tool!
